About
Heroes Hearthstone, a local non-profit, is pleased to announce their first ever 5K/10K RUCK, RAIN OR SHINE!
Rucking, also known as ruck marching, is a low-intensity exercise in which you add weight to your back while walking or hiking. Although not required, we encourage those able to simply add weight to a backpack before walking. Rucking can help you burn calories and build strength—more so than ordinary walks or hikes.
This is a non-competitive ruck where you may choose from a 5K or 10K course. You will not be officially timed nor have a weight requirement. You will, however, earn a finisher's award.
The ruck around beautiful Lake-Lehman High School in Lehman, PA, will aid Heroes Hearthstone in our mission to serve our nation's HEROES. We do this by training our Veterans and First Responders in effective warrior-based wellness and self-regulation practices. By utilizing a system of peer to peer support, we are able to guide our nation's HEROES from a life of post-traumatic stress to a path of post-traumatic growth.

Registration: 8AM
5K/10K Ruck Start Time: 10AM
Entry fees are $35 per person* and includes a Heroes Hearthstone Drawstring Back Pack, Participation Medal, and Runner's Bib.
*We offer discounts for ruck clubs and teams in groups of 10 or more. Please have your team leader or coach reach out to us at info@heroeshearthstone.com and we will set up your team discount.
Registration is available online, or in-person on the day of the event.

IN PERSON: Registration starts at 8AM on the day of event and the fee is CASH ONLY.
After you purchase tickets, you will receive a follow-up email to complete a Participation Waiver. If this is not completed online, you will be required to complete it during registration before participating in our event.

This ticket includes a single entry to the 5K Ruck. The first 200 to register will receive a participation medal, a runner's bib, and a Heroes Hearthstone Drawstring Back Pack.
